Threat Youth Organization
is a registered non-profit organization participating under the
Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) of the U.S. TTYO is a partnership
of former professional athletes, youth developers and dedicated
parents committed to the overall well-being of the student athletes.
Basketball is a sport that needs no introduction, yes you learn
to shoot, dribble and pass, but the skills evolved from this sport
that can be applied to life. It is a sport that teaches discipline,
builds character, leadership and enhances social skills. Local
basketball fans have a long history and deep tradition in Southern
Nevada, from the UNLV Runnin' Rebels to the Semi Professional
teams and the NBA Summer Leagues. Las Vegans are among the most
loyal in sports.
MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of TTYO is to provide quality leadership
and services in helping teach, develop, and expose youth and
potential college basketball players to different ways of learning.
This will create a positive change which gives a better understanding
or sportsmanship, unity, preparation and goal setting in their
lives. By instilling confidence through new creative drills
that are challenging, each player can obtain the proper learning
tool to succeed in sports and life.
